Here are some of the questions we get asked on a daily basis when our customers enquire or book one of our products. If you can’t find your question on here, feel free to contact us and we will be happy to answer any that you may still have.
Q. What happens if it’s raining on the day of my party?
A. As long as we haven’t delivered your castle(s) you may still cancel without incurring a charge. However, we would be grateful if you could call us as early as possible (between 8 am and 9 am) to cancel your booking.
Q. Access to our garden is difficult – are we able to go up steps and around obstacles?
A. Yes!! our staff are calm, strong, competent, experienced and equipped with a number of load bearing wheeled options to aid any carrying.
Q. We have a bouncy castle booked but our child has been taken ill on the morning of the party. Can we cancel?
A. Yes, this is certainly not a problem if we haven’t delivered the equipment already, but please let us know as early as possible.
Q. Can the bouncy castle be used in wet weather?
A. All of our inflatables are safe to use in light showers and moderate rainfall. However, in severe unforeseen circumstances we would ask you to deflate the unit(s) and stay inside until it has passed.
Q. It has been raining all day and we haven’t been able to use the inflatable. Are we entitled to a refund?
A. Unfortunately we cannot control the weather and are unable to give refunds out due to bad weather. There is no charge for cancelling before we arrive, even on the day, so we ask you to be mindful of the current forecast for that week and arrange your party accordingly.
Q. Is there a delivery charge?
A. Yes, the charge will be calculated once you enter your postcode into the system. The charge is dependant on location.
Q. We are worried about using the inflatable in the wind, how do you secure them?
A. All of our inflatables are secured into the ground with 15″ stakes and we use a minimum of 6 per castle to ensure a safe set-up. Safety law dictates that a wind over 24mph is unsafe to operate an inflatable in and so is something we also monitor closely. We reserve the right to cancel your booking on the morning if the wind speeds/gusts that day exceed 24mph. Please do not feel we are letting you down but we are putting the safety of anyone using the equipment before anything else. We will message you in advance to make you aware of the situation but we won't cancel until the day because our weather forecasts change daily.
Q. Do you do outdoor bookings on hard surfaces?
A. Yes we do. We charge £40 extra per castle for outdoor hard surface hire as we have to carry just under 1 ton of sand per castle. Hard surface outdoors includes concrete, tarmac, safety surface, smooth wooden decking and artificial grass.
Q. I want to book a bouncy castle for later in the year, how much notice do you need?
A. We don’t require any notice to book an inflatable however, we do advise you to book as early as possible to avoid any disappointment. If you need a bouncy castle on the day, give us a call, you may be in luck!
Q.Is there an age limit for our inflatables?
A. Yes, some of our castles are designed for children up to the age of 12, most are up to age 15
Q. Do I need electricity to power the fan for the castle?
A. Yes. Whilst we supply everything we need, including extension leads, to ensure a safe and secure set up, we do require a power source from you to enable us to inflate the unit(s). If your chosen venue has limited options or for instance you are in a school field, we can supply generators with fuel to run the inflatables but these are at an additional cost of £50
Q. Do you have public liability insurance?
A. Yes. we will also require that you sign a disclaimer and that there is always adult supervision during any hire.
Q. Do you close down during the winter?
A. No. Just because it gets cold, damp and dark in the winter months, it doesn’t stop us hiring out our inflatables. We have plenty of castles and and ball ponds to choose from that are perfect for indoor venues such as schools and halls.
Q. I have a castle booked with you for the day, can I keep it over night?
A. Yes. All of are inflatables are available to hire overnight for an additional £25, subject to availability, which covers the cost of drying the unit from the night before or any extra cleaning work that may be required.
Q. Do I have to pay a deposit?
Q. Do I need to provide anything?
A. Yes.. we will ask for one form of photo I.D to form part of our hire agreement (A passport or driving licence is sufficient)
